BTCfi Summer Hackathon brings a 12-week opportunity for web3 developers.
The Core DAO is hosting the BTCfi Summer Hackathon, a 12-week competition designed to spur innovation within the Bitcoin economy. Web3 and BTCfi developers are invited to build groundbreaking decentralized applications (dApps) on the Core Chain.
While the application window has closed, developers can still submit their projects by the deadline of July 21, 2024.

Moreover, the BTCfi Hackathon offers a total prize pool of $250,000 USD, with tiered rewards for the top three positions.
- 1st Place: will receive a $15,000 USD grant, access to valuable DeFi resources, participation in a dedicated DeFi development workshop, a feature in the BTCfi ecosystem newsletter, priority access to potential DeFi partnerships, and social media recognition.
- 2nd Place: will be awarded a $10,000 USD grant and similar perks as the 1st place winner.
- 3rd Place: will receive a $5,000 USD grant, access to DeFi development resources, a feature in the BTCfi ecosystem newsletter, entry into the Core Starter Program, and social media highlights.
